"I have never been jealous. Not even when my dad finished 5th grade a year before I did." - Jeff Foxworthy

As you may know, "blue collar" comedian Jeff Foxworthy hosted a television game show called Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?
That question serves as inspiration for the following:

Check the below mistakes, then ask yourself,

Is Barack Obama Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

Barack Obama Makes A Truly Bizarre & Mystifying Statement!

On May 10, 2007, Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama was speaking about a tornado that had struck Greensburg, Kansas. In his own words, Barack Obama said, "In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. 10,000 people died - an entire town destroyed." Although tragic, the actual number of people who died in this natural disaster was twelve.

Noel Sheppard, writing for, stated that, “In fact, all of the broadcast morning shows disregarded Obama’s gaffe, as did all of their evening news broadcasts.” Noel Sheppard began his article by asking the reader to imagine the following: “Imagine for a moment that one of the leading Republican presidential candidates said that 10,000 people had been killed by the recent tornado that destroyed Greensburg, Kansas, Saturday.”

Obama Said He Would Call The President Of Canada,
But Canada Does Not Have A President!

When seeking the Democrat Party nomination for the presidency in August, 2007, Barack Obama was debating his fellow Democrats in Chicago, Illinois. When discussing trade and labour issues, Obama said, “I would immediately call the president of Mexico, the president of Canada, to try to amend NAFTA, because I think that we can get labour agreements in that agreement right now.”
Unfortunately for Obama, as pointed out at, Canadians do not have a president, they have a prime minister.

Barack Obama Says He Has Campaigned In “57 States!”

L. Brent Bozell, the President of the Media Research Center (MRC), has documented many of Obama’s problematic statements during his 2008 campaign for the White House, including the following seven Obama blunders
For example, when campaigning in the state of Oregon Obama said “I've been in fifty-seven states, I think, one left to go.” How can a U.S. Senator with degrees from Columbia University and Harvard Law School not know the USA has fifty states? Was something in his mind as well as on his mind?

Does Barack Obama know that there are fifty stars on the U.S. flag? Does he know that each star represents one state in the United States?

If you ask a classroom full of 5th graders how many states there are in the United States of America, how many will say, “fifty-eight?”

Obama Tells His Audience That “He Can See Dead People!”

When in New Mexico Obama said, “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes - and I see many of them in the audience here today - our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.” Was Obama telling us that he can see dead people? Or does he not know that fallen heroes are dead heroes? How many 5th graders would make this mistake?

Obama Calls For Arabic Translators In Afghanistan
But The People Of Afghanistan Do Not Speak Arabic!

In Cape Girardeau,
Missouri (which is Rush Limbaugh’s home town) Obama said the U.S. military needed to transfer some Arabic translators from Iraq to Afghanistan. According to Obama, “We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.” Obama must have been getting advice from some misinformed voices in his head because Afghans do not speak Arabic! They speak Pashto and Persian! Most 5th graders would probably make the same mistake, which places Obama at their level!

Obama Misnames The City He Is Visiting – Twice!

When in Sunrise, Florida, Obama said, “How’s it going, Sunshine?” While in South Dakota he referred to Sioux Falls as “Sioux City.” If placed in the same geographical locations and told the names of the cities, how many 5th graders would make the same two mistakes Obama has made?

                       Barack Obama Does Not Understand
The Basic Geography Surrounding His Home State!

When explaining why Hillary Clinton beat him in Kentucky during the 2008 Democrat primary, Obama explained that Arkansas, Bill Clinton’s home state, was closer to Kentucky. But actually Illinois, which is Obama’s adopted home state, is closer to Kentucky. A glance at a map of the USA reveals that Kentucky is actually a border state of Illinois. How many 5th graders living in Illinois would make this mistake on a geography test?

Barack Obama Does Not Know That 1961 precedes 1965!

When in Selma, Alabama, Obama said his birth was inspired by the 1965 civil rights movement in that city. But Obama was born in 1961. How many 5th graders know that an event that occurred in 1965 could not possibly inspire an event that had occurred four years earlier in 1961?

                       Barack Obama Does Not Understand
His Family History Nor Military History!

Most disturbing is Obama’s claim that his uncle “was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz.” But Auschwitz was liberated by the Red Army of the Soviet Union, not by the U.S. military. Obama also claimed that his grandfather knew some of the U.S. troops that liberated Auschwitz and Treblinka. Again, both of these Nazi death camps were liberated by Soviet military forces, not U.S. forces! Again, many 5th graders may not know this, but neither does Obama - even though he is supposedly recalling the military activities of his own family members!

Remember, non-stop for eight years Leftist comedians, pundits, and propagandists told us that George W. Bush was a dummy!

Obama Incorrectly Blames Bush For Clinton-Era Development

As reported by Noel Sheppard of on May 25, 2008, Democrat presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama got his facts wrong – again! While campaigning Obama said, “Since the Bush Administration launched a misguided war in Iraq, its policy in the Americas has been negligent toward our friends, ineffective with our adversaries, disinterested in the challenges that matter in peoples’ lives, and incapable of advancing our interests in the region. No wonder, then, that demagogues like Hugo Chavez have stepped into this vacuum.”

As Noel Sheppard pointed out, while Obama blamed George W. Bush for the ascendancy of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, it was during the presidency of fellow Democrat William Jefferson Clinton that Hugo Chavez came to power. In addition to asking, Is Barack Obama Smarter Than A 5th Grader, perhaps we should also ask, is he wrong more often than he is right?

Obama Talks About “The Bomb That Fell On Pearl Harbor.”

According to that brilliant historian, Barack Hussein Obama, the Japanese military did not launch a devastating attack against the U.S. Naval Base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941; instead, a bomb accidently fell on it!

That’s the conclusion one could reach after listening to Obama utter the following words: “Throughout our history, America's confronted constantly evolving danger, from the oppression of an empire, to the lawlessness of the frontier, from the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor, to the threat of nuclear annihilation. Americans have adapted to the threats posed by an ever-changing world.” Obama made that “head scratching” statement when speaking on July 16, 2008, in West Lafeyette, Indiana. This stupid statement was documented in The Weekly Standard blog.

Could Obama Pass A 5th Grade Math Test?

When on Face the Nation in July, 2008, Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama spoke of his visit to Iraq. Obama said the purpose of his visit was to speak with important leaders that he expected to be “dealing with over the next eight to 10 years.” Warren Todd Huston of pointed out that Barack Obama is reportedly a “Constitutional scholar.” Therefore, Obama should know that the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution limits a president to only two terms, each with a length of four years. Therefore, it must have been a math problem, not a constitutional problem. So, had Obama consulted with a 5th grader, he would have learned that 4 years + 4 years = 8 years only, and could never equal 10 years.

Obama Makes A Confusing Statement When Visiting Israel

When in Israel in July, 2008, then-Senator Barack Obama attempted to convince his audience that he would be tough with Iran, and made an inexplicable statement in the process. Again, documented this fiasco as well:

“Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don't have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon.” However, Obama was not a member of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee as he claimed. In addition, he did not vote for “divestment from Iran.” Was Obama lying? Was he confused? Was he delusional? Was he sober? The only thing we know for sure is that he was wrong - again!

Senator Obama Introduces Joe Biden As The “Next President.”

When presidential candidate Barack Obama was introducing his running mate Joe Biden at their first joint campaign rally in Springfield, Illinois on August 23, 2008, Obama said, "Let me introduce to you the next President - the next Vice President of the United States of America, Joe Biden."  As noted on Page 5 of this website, when speaking of Barack Obama at this same campaign rally, Joe Biden said, "A man I'm proud to call my friend. A man who will be the next President of the United States - Barack America!" What a team! (To be fair, in August, 2012, Governor Mitt Romney replicated Barack Obama mistake and introduced his Vice Presidential running mate, Congressman Paul Ryan, as the "next president" as well!) Appropriately, this misstatement by Obama was recorded by

Once Again Obama Must Ask, Where Am I?

While speaking via satellite to the Democratic National Convention on August 25, 2008, Barack Obama said, "I'm here with the Girardo family here in St. Louis." Unfortunately, once again, Barack Obama did not know where he was. He was not in St. Louis, Missouri, he was in Kansas City, Missouri! Is this an example of Political Humor, or a symptom of Chronic Confusion?

One may expect mistakes like this from a 5th grader, but not from a president-elect, and certainly not from a president-elect like Barack Obama who has been portrayed by the Leftist media as an awe-inspiring intellectual giant! A dedicated teacher would not ignore this type of slopping thinking from a 5th grader, so why have the media ignored and covered-up a long chain of sloppy thinking from this presidential candidate and president-elect?

We know that Barack Obama is a Democrat, and the donkey is the symbol of the Democrat Party. So, we may ask the question, Is Barack Obama Smarter Than A 5th Grader, or is he just another dumb ass?
